REBUTTAL

In all fairness, I feel that I must publish the other side's so-called 'perspective'. So, weighing in is a representative of 'The Man', an industry insider, so to speak (like, reallly inside-as in inside the bowels of the power plant):

"(Utility Companies) spend a lot of money with (environmental clean up companies) to help clean up their plants.
They are investing millions on individual boilers to make them cleaner.
I know that because I sit in the meetings and help them spend the money.
That's a lot of boilers times a lots of millions of dollars.
Coal is the cheapest source of energy. It's also the dirtiest.
Gas is very clean but very expensive. Power companies must meet rising energy needs. They can't build coal fired units because of the opposition due to emissions so they install gas turbine units which burn natural gas. These cost A LOT to operate and feed.
Energy company CEO's make a disgusting amount of money, no question.
But if you look, so do CEO's of Nabisco, Microsoft- All those bastards are way over paid.
I do agree with you, I don't think India and China have a god damn thing to do with U.S. energy cost."

Yeah yeah,,,,,,
